In 2009 a team of Winnipeg photographers opened The River Studio, an art space located in the heart of Osborne Village in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The team operated as a collective hosting art exhibits and offering shooting space to photographers. 

Fast forward to today... The River Studio Inc. is still owned and operated by founding photographers Lisa Waldner and Ronnie Abelada. Location shooting is now the norm and therefore The River Studio Inc. is now a pop-up and is setup on location. Lisa Waldner is at the forefront of the business and specializes in commercial photography while Ronnie Abelada supports the business behind the scenes.The duo still collaborates with other artists and are active in the greater art scene to this day.
